Luna Park Sydney is an amusement park located at Milsons Point, overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Entry to Luna Park is free so you only need to pay for rides and games.
Entering Luna Park brings back to the past, nostalgic amusement park when I was a kid. Several ways to go to Luna Park, by train or ferry.
- Luna Park is a short walk from Milsons Point train station.
- Milisons Point station is on the main northern line. From Central you pass through Town Hall and Wynard and then across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Milsons Point.
- You can catch a ferry from Circular Quay or Darling Harbour which stops at Milsons Point (Luna Park) wharf.
Luna Park does not open everyday, check online http://www.lunaparksydney.com/ for the daily schedule. Go Luna Park on Monday, the rides are unlimited. Yay!!!

Day is short, in winter the sky gets darker really fast. Its funny that we have a urge for chinese food when in Sydney. So we head off to China town to feed our cravings, we love rice with stir fry dishes.
Parking rates in Sydney is very expensive, we had intended to drive when we were planning on this trip, luckily we did our research well and forgo the driving idea.
Check out the Parking Rates in Chinatown, according to our Uncle who had live in Sydney for many years was telling us that this are not the most expensive parking rates, it can range up to $100 for 3 hours or a day for parking.
- Saw these Parking rate at a building in Chinatown, WOW!
- $50 an hour for non customer, perhaps should eat something so can park here.
Only 3rd Day and we miss Chinese food. hahhaa
- Yang Chow Fried Rice and Stir Fry Scallop with cashew nut
- Behind Corn Soup and front Vegetable, flower egg soup
- Stir fry Beef with spring onions
We were so proud that we came from a tropical country, we ask for a table outside, telling the waiter, no problem we don't want the area with heater we want to enjoy to dine in the cold.
Apparently 3rd Day's temperature was colder about 15 degrees, after dinner, 3 of us was freezing cold. We left the chinese restaurant proudly, we less then 10 mins walk we ended up in a cafe ordering hot chocolate and Hot tea to warm ourselves. hahahaha
- Hot chocolate and Tea
We went for walks at the Sydney Opera House, the weather is cold and comfortable we were reluctant to go back to the apartment
